The Token Arena — your dead NFTs become battle cards

A card game where the market is the mechanic

Every NFT is a latent game piece. The Token Arena is the layer that makes it playable — and a card's power tracks the market it came from.

Most "NFT utility" bolts a generic perk onto a token. This does something sharper: your card's stats come from your collection's floor and momentum. A blue chip yields a strong card (bounded — the curve is log-scaled and clamped, so it can't turn into pay-to-win). A collection that's pumping runs hot. A near-zero-floor "dead" NFT is still fully playable, just an underdog with room to grow.

The wedge is the NFT downturn itself: millions of tokens that are illiquid, useless, and owned by real, on-chain-addressable people who'd like their bag to matter again. Launch research measured ~21,000 unique wallets across 13 curated Base ERC-721 collections, or ~53,900 counting BasePaint's ERC-1155 holders.

Ownership stays on-chain on Base; gameplay is off-chain and server-authoritative, so a move costs zero gas. PvP wagering runs on a non-custodial USDC rail — the platform never holds funds.

Currently on Sepolia, heading for Base mainnet.
